Job summary

Evri is hiring for an HGV Class 2 Day Driver at our Lakeside depot. The role involves driving 40 hours a week across 5 shifts out of 7, with a typical day starting around 14:00, delivering palletised parcels and handling paperwork.

We offer £16.61 per hour with overtime at £24.92, plus a 3% pension and life assurance, plus a range of flexible benefits. Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply and may undergo a short driving assessment.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlement, CPC and digital tachograph.
• New drivers welcome, but a short driving assessment will be required.

Responsibilities

• Drive and transport palletised parcels safely to couriers or Delivery Units; manage paperwork.
• Complete 4–5 drops per run and ensure timely handovers and compliance with regulations.
• Rotas include 5 shifts out of 7, with 40 hours weekly standard.

We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities forHGV Class 2 Day Drivers (or Cat C Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join our growing Lakesidedepot.

WhatYou’llDo:

OurHGV Class 2drivers work on shifts, safely transporting our palletised parcels to Couriers or collectingfromDelivery Units (that'swhere our couriers pick them up).You will typically have a run with 4 - 5drops ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles and keeping thepaperwork updated.

Our full-time HGV Class 2 driver roles are 40 hours a week,but flexible contracts and part time hours are available.Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7, rotas are given in advance.

Our day shift typically starts at 14:00
