North Somerset Council is seeking a casual worker to support advocacy for Children in Care and those on Child Protection plans. You will need direct experience with young people and join a team that handles regular ad-hoc work across the Youth Offending Service.

Junction 21 is seeking a casual worker to mainly cover advocacy work with Children in Care and on Child Protection plans. The worker must have direct experience of working with young people. The casual worker will be part of a team of casual workers who are offered regular pieces of work on an ad-hoc basis. Casual workers may also be offered other pieces of work for the other teams within the Youth Offending Service.
This position is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
Valid driving licence and own transport, or be able to provide alternative, suitable method of travel is an essential condition for this role.
This position is mainly based from home but office space is available in the Town Hall, W-S-M if needed
