Our Silks Farm Day Nursery, is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Casual Worker to join our team. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.

About Our Nursery

Our Silks Farm Day Nursery and Preschool in the Huntingdon area offers an array of exceptional features that contribute to our high-quality childcare. Location

Set in rural Cambridgeshire, we are located between Somersham village and St Ives retail park, near Cuckoobridge Farm Shop. The nursery is easily accessible by car and offers ample parking.

What will you be doing

• Provide a positive practice role model to ensure that Grandir UK values are maintained
• Ensure that quality of access and opportunity is afforded to all staff, parents and children
• Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment
• Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified Practitioners
• Read, understand and implement all company policies, procedures and operational practices
• Ensure that any changes to policies, procedures and operational practices are adhered to within the required timescale
• Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation stage
• Notify your line manager of any concerns or issues regarding company policies, procedures and operational practices
• Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, visitors and work colleagues
• Ensure confidentiality, where appropriate, is maintained
• Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings and undertake training as required
