Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking a casual Swimming Teacher to join our Aquatic team. You will teach safe, fun and effective classes as part of our swimming programme or 1-1 tuition environments.

As a casual worker, there are no fixed hours and you will work on an as-needed basis depending on Council requirements and your availability. Level 2 Swim England qualification or equivalent preferred; Level 1 may be considered if booked onto Level 2 course.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or above Swim England swimming teacher qualification or equivalent.
• Experience teaching children within a leisure environment.
• Level 1 only considered if booked onto Level 2 course to complete qualification.

Responsibilities

• Teach safe, fun, effective and enjoyable swimming classes as part of a programme or 1-1 tuition.
• Work as a casual worker with no fixed hours, on an as-needed basis depending on Wiltshire Council requirements.
