Job summary

Ayrshire Independent Living Network (AILN) is seeking a Casual Support Worker to join the Cumnock team. The role is part-time, on-site, and pays £13.45 per hour.

You will cover for colleagues on annual leave or sick leave and provide social support to a gentleman in Cumnock, including accompanying him on outings and helping with personal care. Full driving licence is required, as you may drive the employer’s vehicle when needed.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• To cover when other staff are on A/L, off sick or have an emergency
• Provide social support to a gentleman in Cumnock.
• Accompany the gentleman on outings to golf / fishing weather permitting and to appointments.
• Assist with personal care, medication, making a meal / sandwich / drink.
• Assist with companionship within his howe

Requirements

• Full Drivers licence required; will have to drive the employer’s vehicle if he is unwell.
• It is essential that you are reliable, trustworthy, respectful and aware of the importance of confidentiality.

The gentleman is very independent. He has a wheelchair which he only uses when necessary. He uses oxygen and may at times now feel up to going out, therefore companionship within his howe
