Job summary

Securitas in Waltham Cross is recruiting a Casual Security Officer. You will cover multiple sites, patrols, monitor CCTV/alarm systems, control access, and ensure a safe environment with high professional standards.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, CCTV licence, right to work in the UK with a 5-year history, reliability, teamwork, and strong English communication. Pay is £17.00 per hour with zero hours contracts and a strong learning and development focus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
• Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate.
• Carry out routine tests of security equipment.
• Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
• Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
• Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.
• Provide support, guidance and information to staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises.

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate
