Job summary

Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council is recruiting a Casual Dining Room Assistant for Heolgerrig Community Primary School in Merthyr Tydfil. Start date ASAP. You will supervise pupils during lunch, supervise on the playground, and assist with cleaning after lunch.

This role is paid at £13.70 per hour, with hours as and when required. Welsh language ability is desirable, and all pre-employment checks will be conducted in line with local agreements and council policies.

Qualifications

• Evidence of all essential qualifications required.
• Welsh language ability is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervising pupils at lunch time both in the school hall/classrooms with their lunch.
• Supervising pupils on the playground.
• Cleaning and clearing areas after lunch.
