Job summary

Dumfries and Galloway Council is hiring on a casual, as-needed basis for catering staff across multiple bases in Dumfries and Galloway. The role pays Band 2 at £13.74 per hour and involves working in both primary and secondary schools.

Typical duties include basic food preparation, serving meals, setting up and clearing function rooms and kitchens, dishwashing and money handling. PVG scheme checks and training will be provided where required, with benefits through our Vivup platform.

Qualifications

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be advantageous.
• Experience is preferred but training will be provided.
