Job summary

Sports Direct is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our fast-paced, customer-first retail team. You’ll greet customers, help them find products, and deliver great service from entrance to till. You’ll work on a busy floor, keep stock tidy, and support promotions while contributing to daily sales targets.

Developments pathways. Inductions, supervisor and management programmes, and nationally recognised qualifications are available within the Frasers Group.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience is a bonus, but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Motivation to deliver results and take pride in your work.
• Flexibility and reliability, especially through peak trade.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and help them find the right product.
• Deliver brilliant service at every touchpoint, from the door to the till.
• Keep the shop floor tidy, well-stocked, and visually on point.
• Replenish shelves and rails so the floor is always ready for the next customer.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately.
• Promote current offers and spot upsell opportunities.
• Work as one team to hit daily sales and service goals.
