Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking a casual relief bank support worker for Riverbank and Meadow Lodge, providing dignity, choice and independence to adults with learning disabilities. You will support daily living tasks, assist with activities, and offer emotional and practical support across multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• Caring, patient, and committed to supporting adults with learning disabilities.
• Able to communicate clearly and work well with others.
• No fixed qualifications required if you have relevant skills or experience.

Responsibilities

• Support customers with personal care and daily living tasks.
• Help plan and take part in meaningful activities.
• Provide emotional and practical support when needed.
• Assist with household tasks and basic financial responsibilities.
• Work flexibly across day and respite services, including evenings, weekends, sleep-ins and waking nights.
• Support customers in their homes or within the service settings.
