Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central is seeking a Casual Receptionist to join our front desk team. You will greet guests, check-in/check-out, answer queries and assist with reservations in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

The role offers a friendly, customer-focused team, opportunities to upsell services, and staff benefits including discounts, meals on duty, uniform provided and parking. Previous IT proficiency and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• As a receptionist, you will contribute to the cycle of the guest experience, providing excellent service from Check-In until Check-Out

• Demonstrate a knowledge of hotel room categories, room rate, packages and other general product knowledge
• Maximise room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
• Ensuring a high level of compliance with hotel security, fire regulations and health and safety legislations
