Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central is seeking a Linen Porter to join our hospitality team in Glasgow. You will remove used linen, keep linen rooms clean and organized, and distribute clean linen and towels across departments.

The role requires reliability, the ability to work both in teams and independently, and flexibility to cover early mornings, evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Reliable and hard working.
• Flexible and willing to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Remove used linen and ensure it is sent to laundry promptly.
• Keep linen rooms clean, tidy, and well-organized while adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collect, sort, and distribute clean linen and towels across departments.
• Maintain security of linen room keys, and the linen room whilst on duty.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or damages.
