Job summary

Bede’s Trust is seeking a reliable Casual Minibus Driver to join the Transport Team in Eastbourne/Upper Dicker. You will transport pupils to and from school, fixtures and trips, ensuring safety and adherence to policies while maintaining professional conduct.

The role requires a D1 licence, a recent eye test, and excellent communication. It is offered on an ad-hoc basis with a competitive hourly rate and a range of staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Category D1 driving licence.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Eye test completed within the last 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Transport pupils to and from school according to the timetable and routes.
• Transport pupils to sporting fixtures, airports, activities and trips.
• Supervise, ensure safety and behaviour of pupils on and around vehicles; follow school policies.
