E-ACT Heartlands Academy is seeking a casual minibus driver to transport students to activities, visits and approved destinations. You will perform pre-use safety checks, keep logs and ensure vehicles remain roadworthy and compliant.

The role requires a full, clean UK driving licence with minibus entitlement and an enhanced DBS check. Visa sponsorship is not available. This is a casual contract and involves flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence with minibus entitlement.
• Experience driving passenger vehicles safely and responsibly is preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements for passenger transport.

Responsabilités

• Drive the academy minibus safely and in line with road rules.
• Transport students to activities, visits and approved destinations.
• Carry out pre-use safety inspections and report defects promptly.
• Keep vehicles roadworthy, clean and compliant.
• Maintain mileage logs and inspection records.
• Plan safe, efficient routes considering traffic and weather.

Casual minibus driver at E-ACT Heartlands Academy, transporting students to academy activities, educational visits and approved destinations. The work covers safe driving, pre-use vehicle checks, keeping the fleet roadworthy and logging mileage and inspection records. It is a casual contract rather than a fixed post. Applicants need a full clean licence with minibus entitlement and an enhanced DBS check; visa sponsorship is not available.

What the job involves

• Drive the academy minibus safely, following road traffic law, licensing rules and academy procedures
• Transport students to and from academy activities, educational visits and approved destinations
• Carry out pre-use vehicle safety inspections and report defects, damage or concerns promptly
• Keep academy vehicles roadworthy, clean and legally compliant
• Keep accurate vehicle records, mileage logs and inspection documentation
• Plan safe, efficient routes that account for traffic and weather

Experience

• Experience of driving passenger vehicles safely and responsibly

Skills & knowledge

• Knowledge of road traffic regulations and safe driving practice
• Understanding of health and safety requirements for passenger transport
