Job summary

Sodexo Live! is inviting applications for a Casual Matchday Lead Chef at Blackburn Rovers Football Club. You will lead a small kitchen team, ensuring meals are prepared and served to spec on matchdays and during events, maintaining quality and pace under pressure.

The role involves flexible hours including weekends and evenings, with a focus on guest delight and safe kitchen practices within a high-profile venue.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in leading a team.
• Basic Knowledge of food hygiene.
• Flexible working patterns.

Responsibilities

• All products and food items are prepared and served as per pre-agreed food specification.
• All food items for service are present, portion controlled as per Head & Executive Chefs instructions.
• Correct use of equipment/ utilises are adhered to.
• To ensure and maintain the quality of food prep, production, and presentation within the venue.
• To ensure the cleanliness of the Kitchen
• Visual hazard check of kitchen
• Correct PPE is worn throughout shift, full uniform blue trousers & Tops, safety shoes must be worn at all times
• Kitchen cleanse is to the standard of EHO requirements
