Job summary

Liverpool FC is seeking a casual kitchen operative to support our state-of-the-art kitchens across match days and events. You will work with a team of chefs, assisting with basic food preparation and ensuring clean, safe storage and handling of deliveries.

Roles involve unloading deliveries, cleaning duties, deep cleaning of fridges and storage areas, and washing up to keep service ready. The position offers evenings and weekend hours on a flexible basis and a strong commitment to cleanliness

Qualifications

• Experienced in working in a fast-paced kitchen or similar environment.
• Knowledgeable or aware of manual handling techniques.
• Familiar with basic kitchen equipment and processes.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work as part of a team.
• Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation.
• Unload and store deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness by emptying bins, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored correctly.
• Carry out deep cleaning of fridges and storage areas to meet hygiene standards.
• Support with washing up, ensuring all items are cleaned and ready for service.
• Keep back-of-house areas clear and organised, including end-of-day cleaning and waste removal.
