Job summary

You will work under the supervision of the Teacher in Charge and Classroom Teacher, assisting with lessons, adapting materials, and contributing to individual development plans.

Qualifications

• A good standard of education, an understanding of child development, together with excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
• You will need to be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) for this post.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Class Teacher through participation in class/group/individual lessons.
• Support as a member of a team or individually for pupils.
• Assist in preparation of materials and displays; clear away resources as required and contribute to the delivery of IDPs under the direction of the Class Teacher.
