Job summary

Artemis Venue Services Ltd is seeking a Kitchen Porter for Sandhole Oak Barn in Congleton (CW12 2JH). This high-end wedding and events venue operates with a small team and 100+ covers, offering flexible hours and on-site work.

You will support the kitchen with dishwashing, prep cleaning, and general duties, reporting to the Chef/Manager. Training in H&S and Food Hygiene will be provided.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
• Own transport due to remote location.
• Some commercial kitchen experience.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Chef/ Manager on duty and assist to ensure a smooth running of the event.
• Operating automated dishwasher.
• Hand wash and sanitising large kitchen prep items.
• Cleaning of kitchen equipment & surfaces.
• Some lone working.
• H&S - training will be given.
• Food Hygiene – training will be given.

Experience in weddings and conferences, 100+ covers, with a strong background in food led establishments.
