Job summary

Bridgewood Manor Hotel and Spa is looking for a reliable Casual Housekeeper to join our team in Chatham. This casual role has hours varying with occupancy, events, and functions, including evening shifts and some daytime work.

You will clean guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming, spotless environment and assisting with special requests to enhance guest stays. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, flexible, with good communication and teamwork, able to adapt to busy periods

Responsibilities

• Keep guest rooms and public areas spotless and welcoming, creating a comfortable space guests love to return to.
• Clean, dust, vacuum, and polish with an eye for detail, making sure every room is guest-ready.
• Change linens, make beds, and refresh towels, keeping everything looking fresh and inviting.
• Replenish in-room amenities, from toiletries to tea and coffee, ensuring guests have everything they need.
• Report any maintenance issues or missing items promptly to keep rooms in top shape.
• Follow health, safety, and cleanliness standards, helping maintain a safe environment for guests and team members.
• Support with special requests, like setting up extra beds or delivering extra amenities, going the extra mile to make each stay memorable.
• Work closely with other departments, especially the front desk and maintenance, to deliver a seamless guest experience.

The role will involve evening shifts to support functions and events, as well as daytime housekeeping shifts when required. We are looking for someone who is happy to work a mixture of daytime and evening shifts , including weekends when needed .As this is a casual role , working hours will vary depending on hotel occupancy , functions and events.

OUR HOTEL

Bridgewood Manor Hotel and Spa is located in Chatham, Kent, is a charming and inviting retreat set amidst tranquil surroundings.
