Responsibilities

• Provide high standard of customer service; polite and professional.
• Assist in preparation and service of food and beverages to customers.
• Help maintain hygiene in preparation and service areas.
• Carry out cleaning tasks as per schedules and safety rules.
• Operate till and handle money securely according to Lexington procedures.
• Ensure correct stock storage and rotation when required.
• Wear correct protective clothing and footwear at all times.
• Report equipment breakdowns or accidents to management.
• Attend required training and complete duties as directed.
• Be prepared to undertake other duties as directed by management.

Job Role: To ensure that the Restaurant/Café/Lounge areas, counters and fridges are set up and maintain to the highest standards. To serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner.

Operational Skills

Duties:

• Ensure all counters, fridges and tables are set up prior to service time
• Ensure constant replenishment of counters and fridge’s throughout service
• Ensure attractive presentation of food throughout service
• Ensure the restaurant area is always clean and tidy
• To provide a high standard of customer service, dealing with customers politely and professionally at all times
• To assist in the preparation and service of food and beverages to the customer
• To assist in maintaining levels of hygiene in the preparation and service areas
• To carry out dedicated cleaning of equipment and/or areas as per approved cleaning schedules
• To operate a till and be responsible for any money in their care in compliance with all Lexington procedures with regards to financial security
• To ensure correct storage and rotation of stock, when required
• To ensure at all times the wearing of the correct protective clothing and footwear
• To comply with all health, safety and hygiene regulations as lay down within the catering department and to make due diligence reports if required
• To report any equipment breakdowns or accidents to the Supervisor/Assistant Catering Manager/ Catering Manager
• To attend any training that is required
• To carry out all reasonable tasks expected by management

Duties:

• Welcome and connect with every customer
• Ensure the highest standard of customer care is used at all times
• Ensure all customers are served in a friendly and efficient manner
• Ensure all comments and complaints are passed on immediately to the Catering Manager
• Ensure high standards of personal hygiene
• Ensure uniform is clean and tidy
• Ensure all accidents and faulty equipment is reported to the Catering Manager
• Ensure that all new ideas are communicated to the Catering Manager
• Ensure full attendance to all training sessions, meetings and monthly reviews
• To work overtime provided reasonable notice is given
• To carry out any other duties as reasonably directed by the management tea
