Dignity Funeral Directors is seeking compassionate, reliable individuals to join our team on a casual basis to support families during funeral services and behind the scenes. You will help with every service with dignity and respect, especially during peak periods, and be part of a close-knit team that values training and professional presentation.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training and uniform provided.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
• Physically capable of manual handling, including lifting and carrying.
• Reliability, punctuality and flexibility, including short-notice availability.

Responsibilities

• Assisting at funeral services: bearing coffins, setting up venues, and supporting mourners.
• Driving and operating specialist vehicles such as hearses and limousines.
• Representing Dignity Funeral Directors with professionalism and empathy.
• Providing respectful, discreet support to families on the day.
• Maintaining ceremonial standards in appearance, conduct and service delivery.
