The role supports families during services and behind the scenes, with flexible hours that suit other commitments. A full UK driving licence is required, and full training will be provided.

The position offers on-call payments and opportunities to contribute to dignified, compassionate funeral services across the region.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
• Compassionate, empathetic and professional.
• Understands the importance of presentation and discretion.
• Physically capable of manual handling, including lifting and carrying.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible, including short-notice availability.
• Comfortable with direct contact with the deceased.

Responsibilities

• Assisting at funeral services, bearing coffins, setting up venues, and supporting mourners.
• Driving hearses and limousines.
• Represent the brand with professionalism and empathy.
• Support families on the day with respectful, discreet assistance.
• Maintain ceremonial standards in appearance, conduct and service delivery.
