We are recruiting for Casual Front of House Staff at The Brink.
The Brink Liverpool is part of the Forward Trust, which operates across the UK. There is nowhere else quite like The Brink or The Brink Café. The café serves a flourishing and established recovery community, linking seamlessly with the general public, partners, providers, and the wider community, including local residents.
The Brink Café, based in Liverpool city centre and established in 2011, is an award-winning alcohol-free café bar, originally the first of its kind in the UK. It offers healthy food, non-alcoholic drinks, and provides a discreet environment for individuals seeking help and support for addiction problems. Many staff members have personal experience of recovery.
The Brink is a well-known hub with an entertainment venue, hosting activities such as open mic nights, film screenings, afternoon teas, holistic therapies, and forums for various services and communities in the Liverpool City Region.
Roles & Responsibilities
We seek individuals who are flexible, eager to learn, and empathetic, aligned with the Brink community ethos. Experience or lived understanding of recovery is valued. Candidates should be open to contributing ideas for events and business development, supporting the Supervisor and General Manager, and assisting with kitchen and café duties.
This is a casual contract with no set hours; shifts are scheduled as needed to cover staff leave, sickness, and events.
