We are currently recruiting for a Casual Food & Beverage Assistant at Crathorne Hall Hotel, part of Hand Picked Hotels. This casual role requires working evenings and weekends; own transport is advantageous due to shift patterns.

Crathorne Hall Hotel, built in 1906 with views of the Leven Valley on the edge of the Yorkshire Moors, offers a luxurious experience in North Yorkshire’s stunning countryside.

• The role involves preparing food and beverage service areas to hotel standards, maintaining high presentation standards.
• Possess good knowledge of food menu items, ingredients, allergens, and preparation styles.
• Provide accurate and enticing product descriptions and recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Work enthusiastically with team members to achieve departmental goals.
• Maintain basic knowledge of the wine list and stock availability.
• Understand principles of food and wine matching, grape varieties, and flavors.
• Be inspired, have fun, and enjoy being part of the Hand Picked Team.

About You

• Experience in food and beverage within a quality-driven hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
• Must be over 18 to serve alcohol.
• Enthusiastic, willing to take on responsibilities, and adaptable.
• High emotional intelligence to anticipate guest needs and deliver a personalized, memorable experience.

• Salary of £13.82 per hour plus a share of service charge.
