The Role

First Direct Arena, Leeds, is the largest indoor entertainment venue in Yorkshire. Hosting approximately 100 events per year, it covers everything from exhibitions to national touring shows, including stand-up comedy, live music, and other entertainment events.

Working at First Direct Arena offers an exciting and fun opportunity with flexible shifts to fit around your life. We are seeking experienced, enthusiastic individuals to join our food and beverage team on a casual, event-driven basis.

Customer service is at the heart of everything we do. We seek team players who can contribute positively to the customer experience, take pride in their work, have a friendly attitude, and possess excellent communication skills. Experience in busy, high-pressure events is preferred.

About the Role

We offer exciting opportunities for Casual Food & Beverage Assistants to create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure guests have an enjoyable experience. Your friendly, positive attitude will make a difference whether you're serving drinks, preparing food, or assisting customers.

• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess and meet customer needs
• Check IDs to confirm legal drinking age
• Restock supplies as needed
• Maintain guest focus and ensure excellent service
• Follow all food and beverage regulations

Recruitment Process

Successful applicants will join our casual team, with opportunities to sign up for event shifts, including evenings and weekends. This is a casual, event-based role.
