Job summary

Cirencester Deer Park School is seeking Exam Invigilators to join on a casual, as-needed basis to supervise students during public and internal exams.

You will report to the Examinations Manager and be involved in setting up venues, directing candidates, supervising them, and collecting scripts and devices in line with procedures.

Availability is required during key periods May–June, early-mid December and early March, with additional events throughout the year.

• Reliable and flexible to work during main exam periods.
• Able to work well in a team and support staff.
• Confident and reassuring presence in exam rooms.
• Ability to give clear instructions and manage groups.

Responsibilities

• Set up venues and distribute papers according to procedures.
• Direct candidates to seats and explain allowed possessions.
• Ensure candidates remain quiet inside venues.
• Check attendance against seating plans.
• Collect scripts and phones at end of exams.
• Escort candidates during exams as needed.
