Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking Casual Exam Invigilators to supervise internal and external examinations in a range of rooms. The role is casual with hours to be agreed during the academic year and pays £13.27 per hour.

Invigilators are responsible for the correct running of internal and external examinations in a range of exam rooms.

Experience is not required, as training will be provided. The work is on a casual basis throughout the year. Our key examination periods are October/November, February/March, and May/June/July, with limited additional opportunities available outside of these periods. Exams typically take place in two sessions – morning and afternoon, with an additional mid‑morning session often scheduled.
Invigilators should enjoy working as part of a team, be interested in working in a school environment and in supporting candidates in both large and smaller groups.
The position is ideally suited to a responsible, calm, organised individual who have effective communication skills and is expected to dress appropriately for a school environment.
Experience of working in a school environment or with secondary aged students would be advantageous.
