Job summary

The Castle School is seeking casual exam invigilators to join our team for examinations, mainly in May and June but also in November, January and March. The role is paid at £14.88 per hour (£13.28 plus holiday pay) and is casual with a permanent designation, requiring flexibility and reliable presence.

We are looking to expand our friendly team of exam invigilators at The Castle School.

Examinations take place predominantly in May and June each year, but also during November, January and March. A number of invigilators are required for each examination and we are looking to increase our bank of available staff. We are looking for individuals who can be flexible, patient and are able to stand for periods of time. Exams are timetabled throughout the day but the majority are part-day. Invigilators must be alert and able to deal with a variety of situations. The post of examination invigilator is casual and attracts pay of £13.28 per hour plus holiday pay resulting in an hourly rate of £14.88.

Applicants should be enthusiastic, patient, demonstrate flexibility, initiative and excellent communication skills, be a team player and have strong empathy skills.
