Job summary

North Hertfordshire District Council seeks a Casual Duty Manager/Front-of-House assistant at Hitchin Town Hall. You will support food and beverage operations, serve customers, handle payments, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Experience in bar/catering procedures and serving at large events is preferred. The role requires friendly, professional service in a busy environment within Hitchin.

Qualifications

Contract Type: Casual

Salary: £13.40 - £13.74 per hour dependent on experience

To assist the Duty Manager in the operation of the Food and Beverage service at Hitchin Town Hall. To provide a professional, friendly and efficient service to customers whilst ensuring food hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
