Job summary

Royal Lancaster in London is recruiting a Casual Event Porter to support the Events Department with flexible, casual shifts. You will help set up and break down event spaces, manage furniture and decor, and assist with moving materials while upholding hotel standards and guest service excellence.

The role emphasizes positive energy, teamwork, and a welcoming atmosphere for guests and colleagues. Eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer-facing role is beneficial.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and dismantling of event spaces, furniture and decor.
• Ensure event areas are arranged to function specifications and hotel standards.
• Move event materials, including AV equipment and tableware.
• Handle post-event breakdown and space resetting for future events.
• Follow health and safety and manual handling procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and clear communication to guests.
