Job summary

The Royal Lancaster London is seeking a Casual Event Porter to join the Events Department on a casual basis with an immediate start. You will support setup and teardown of event spaces while delivering five-star service to guests.

We offer £12.71 per hour plus service charge, with benefits including retirement contributions, restaurant and spa discounts, staff meals, laundry on duty, and wellbeing support. Eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and dismantling of event spaces, including furniture, staging, tables, chairs, and décor.
• Ensure all event areas are correctly arranged according to function specifications and hotel standards.
• Assist with unloading and moving event materials, including AV equipment, tableware, and supplies.
• Conduct thorough post-event breakdown and resetting of spaces for future events.
• Follow all health & safety, fire, and manual handling procedures.
• Assist with post-event clean-up and resetting for future events.
