Job description

To encourage and support all aspects of children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure the setting delivers high-quality services to children and families.
  2. Undertake a proactive key person role and build positive relationships with parents/carers and other professionals to support the individual needs of every child.
  3. Implement all policies and procedures in the setting.
  4. Maintain a safe, clean, and friendly environment that is nurturing for the children.
  5. Contribute to the planning and delivery of programmes that support children's learning and development.
  6. Prepare healthy and nutritious foods that promote children's independence.
  7. Build a portfolio of assessments to ensure children progress in accordance with the EYFS requirements.
  8. Access training updates and participate in regular staff meetings.
