Job summary

Vertu Vauxhall Harrogate, part of Vertu Motors, is hiring a Casual Driver to support the Aftersales team. This zero-hours role typically involves working 2-3 days per week, with shifts from 8:00am to 5:00pm and a pay rate of £12.71 per hour.

You will collect and deliver customer vehicles, hand over vehicles, and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately while maintaining high service standards and safety. Prior driving or customer-facing experience is welcome but reliability is key.

Are you a reliable and customer-focused driver looking for flexible work with one of the UK's leading motor retailers?

At Vertu Vauxhall Harrogate, we are looking for a Casual Driver to support our busy Aftersales team. This is a zero-hours contract, typically working 2-3 days per week, with shifts generally between 8:00am and 5:00pm.

We're offering a competitive rate of £12.71 per hour, along with the opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team where you'll play an important role in delivering outstanding customer service.

About the Role

As a Casual Driver, you'll be responsible for the collection and delivery of customer vehicles, ensuring a professional, safe, and efficient service at all times.

Often acting as one of the first and last points of contact for our customers, you'll represent both Vertu Motors and Vauxhall Harrogate, delivering an excellent customer experience with every interaction.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collecting and delivering customer vehicles safely and efficiently
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
• Conducting vehicle handovers and collections
• Ensuring vehicles are transported in line with company procedures
• Maintaining high standards of care and attention when handling customer vehicles
• Supporting the Aftersales team with additional driving duties as required
• Ensuring all relevant paperwork and vehicle records are completed accurately
