Job summary

Walsall Council is seeking Casual Cleaners to join our pool covering schools, libraries and council offices across the borough. The role is non-contractual and hours are allocated on an “as and when” basis to cover leave and deep cleaning, with pay at £13.48 per hour.

We value hardworking, reliable and motivated individuals who can work independently or as part of a team, follow Health & Safety rules, and complete mopping, polishing and vacuuming duties while wearing uniforms provided and taking

Qualifications

• Hardworking, reliable, enthusiastic and motivated cleaners are required.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative; ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to train in the safe use of cleaning chemicals and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and surfaces by mopping, polishing and vacuuming.
• Cover premises across the Walsall Borough to maintain cleanliness and presentation.
• Adhere to Health & Safety requirements; wear provided uniform and use cleaning chemicals safely.
• Participate in training and development programs.
