Job summary

Qualifications

• Willing to complete induction to register with Social Care Wales.
• Prepared to complete the qualification for the role within Social Care Wales framework.
• Enhanced DBS check for Children and Adults is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide children/young people with an individualised package of support.
• Offer therapeutically informed interventions to support wellbeing.
• Assist children/young people to explore issues and work through emotions.
• Provide levels of support to promote confidence and self-esteem.
• Provide educational support to promote outcomes within educational setting.
• Work with families to ensure transition plans when moving placements.
• Provide age-appropriate independent living programmes.
