Job summary

Sodexo Live! at Emirates Old Trafford is recruiting casual Chefs to join our hospitality catering team. You will assist in preparing and serving a variety of food items, while upholding high standards of cleanliness and food presentation.

We seek friendly, professional individuals with previous chef experience and a flexible approach to shifts. This is an excellent opportunity to work at a world-class venue and be part of a dynamic catering operation.

Qualifications

• Previous chef experience in a catering/hospitality environment.
• Basic food hygiene knowledge and practice.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer-facing skills.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and service of food items according to specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and kitchen safety to EH0 standards.
• Ensure correct PPE, uniform and safety footwear are worn throughout the shift.
• Support the Head & Executive Chefs with portion control and food presentation.

Job description

• All products and food items are prepared and served as per pre-agreed food specification.
• All food items for service are present, portion controlled as per Head & Executive Chefs instructions.
• To ensure and maintain the quality of food prep, production, and presentation within the venue with correct use of equipment
• To ensure the cleanliness of the Kitchen to the standard of EHO requirements
• Visual hazard check of kitchen
• Correct PPE is worn throughout shift, full uniform blue trousers & Tops, safety shoes must be worn at all times
  Excellent verbal communication skills
