Casual Chef De Partie | Southeast London | £15 per hour

Our brand new, state-of-the-art central production unit supports smaller B&I locations across London, providing homemade grab & go options, cooked lunches, and event catering. This operation runs from Sunday to Friday.

We are seeking a talented Chef De Partie to join our team at one of our prestigious London locations.

You should have previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level.

You will be excited to work with fresh, seasonal ingredients and regularly changing bespoke menus, showcasing your creativity and skills.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work effectively within a team of chefs to provide catering services to pupils and teachers.
  • Prepare food using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following company standards.
  • Adhere to food standards and control wastage.
  • Follow all Food Hygiene, Health & Safety policies, and allergen control procedures.

Skills required:

  • Genuine interest in food and excellent customer service skills.
  • Team player with a collaborative approach.
  • Passion for innovation and great food.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of food costs and wastage management.

Knowledge / Competencies:

  • Good understanding of verbal English.
  • Proficient in written English and reading skills.
  • Experience in customer service or food preparation environments is preferred.
