Qualifications

Job description

Casual Chef De Partie | Southeast London | £15 per hour | London | Contract: Casual

Our brand new, state-of-the-art central production unit caters to some of our smaller B&I locations across London. The team here supports our locations with homemade grab & go options, cooked lunches, and event catering. This is a full-time operation running from Sunday to Friday.

We are looking for a talented Chef De Partie to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in London.

You will have previous experience working within a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level.

You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients and regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Work well in a team of chefs providing catering services to pupils and teachers.
  2. Produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch, and following the company's brand standards.
  3. Ensure company food standards are adhered to and wastage is controlled.
  4. Follow all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures.

You will have the following skills:

  1. A genuine interest in food and excellent customer service.
  2. An all-round team player.
  3. Innovation and passion for great food.
  4. An organized Chef with attention to detail.
  5. Understanding of food cost and wastage basics.

Knowledge / competencies:

  1. Good understanding and use of verbal English.
  2. Good standard of written English and reading skills.
  3. Experience in customer service and/or food preparation environments is preferred.
