Nottingham City Council is seeking a Catering Assistant to support the Catering Supervisor in preparing and serving school meals across various sites. You will help maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow hygiene standards, with ad-hoc hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
The role is on-site with flexible hours; a DBS enhanced check is required. Training and progression opportunities are provided, and you will join a supportive team delivering meals to pupils and staff.
Contract Type: Casual
Working Hours: Various hours on an ad-hoc basis covering vacancies, sickness and busy periods. School hours, evenings and weekends availability - please confirm your availability on you application.

Salary: Starting Salary is £14.88 per hour

As a Catering Assistant your main duties will be to assist the Catering Supervisor and existing teams with the preparation and serving of school meals and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen areas and all equipment used.
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
