Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as a Casual Academy Scout (North) on a casual basis. You will support the region in coverage of Academy fixtures in both live and video viewings. You will provide information regarding fixtures and market activity in the region.

What will you be doing?
  1. Attend or watch games via video as requested by the area manager, and provide reports according to LFC reporting procedures.
  2. Notify the Area Manager of any potential players of interest within the desired timeframe.
  3. Provide regular market information on the region regarding potential player movements.
  4. Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external.
  5. Attend Academy meetings when required, both regional and national.
  6. Develop a good knowledge of our own players by watching live games and via video.
Who are we looking for?

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent knowledge of professional academy football within the North region, covering players from U13 to U18 at professional clubs. You should have a strong understanding of youth football and long-term youth development. The ideal candidate will have the ability to maintain and develop relationships within the football community, be computer literate, and experienced with scouting software such as Hudl, Wyscout, or Eyeball. You must be able to work to deadlines.

  • FA Talent ID Level 2
  • Valid driving license
