Join the Liverpool Football Club as a Casual Academy Scout North

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as a Casual Academy Scout (North) on a casual basis. You will support the region by covering Academy fixtures through live attendance and video viewings. Your role includes providing fixture information and market activity updates.

Responsibilities
  • Attend or watch games via video as requested by the area manager and provide reports according to LFC reporting procedures.
  • Notify the Area Manager of potential players of interest within the desired timeframe.
  • Regularly provide market information on the region regarding potential player movements.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Attend regional and national Academy meetings when required.
  • Develop a good knowledge of our players by watching live games and videos.
Candidate Profile

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent knowledge of professional academy football in the North region, covering ages U13 to U18 at professional clubs. A strong understanding of youth football and long-term youth development is essential. You must be capable of maintaining and developing relationships within the football community, be computer literate, and experienced with scouting software such as Hudl, Wyscout, or Eyeball. Ability to meet deadlines is also required.
