Job summary

Citi Belfast is hiring for a junior CASS Regulatory Operations role within the EMEA team. You will support client money calculations, CMAR/MCAR & regulatory submissions to FCA/CBI, and help maintain governance under O&T.

The role offers exposure to cross-functional teams, opportunities to automate processes, and a path to SME in CASS with development in regulatory oversight. Strong analytical mindset, teamwork, and eagerness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Securities & Banking Operations or in a Control/Regulatory function.
• Knowledge of CASS rules advantageous.
• Team player who works well with colleagues at all levels.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Processing of daily client money and shortfall calculations, engaging with key stakeholders to ensure timely processing on behalf of the firm.
• Collation and completion of a monthly CMAR/MCAR at business level and submission to the FCA and CBI.
• Timely and accurate collation and distribution of key MIS reports for all relevant CASS processes.
• Adherence to all Control and Compliance requirements and updating procedures as required.
• Identification of areas for improving existing regulatory reporting processes and supporting technology solutions with UAT where required.
• Participation in ad-hoc projects as required.
• Develop regulatory understanding with opportunity to develop into a CASS SME.
• Exposure to management groups across Operations; fully proficient in department technology.
• Enhancing communication and organizational skills.
• Meeting targets set within the group and interacting with a wide spectrum of people to achieve these skills.
