Opportunity for a CASS Management Specialist in a FinTech Startup

This innovative FinTech start-up aims to revolutionise the post-trading space across the UK and Europe. Having been in stealth mode, they are now preparing to go live in September, making this an exciting time to join the team.

This is a newly created role, offering you the scope to make it your own by continuously developing processes and systems.

You will work under the guidance of an exceptionally talented Head of Compliance, who holds the SMF16z function.

The company offers a flexible working policy, allowing for fully remote work.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee daily reconciliations and escalate issues to the SMF16z.
  2. Develop and maintain CASS records and procedures related to reconciliations, CMAR, and RP.
  3. Manage monthly CMAR submissions and maintain the CASS RP.
  4. Participate in the firm’s CASS Oversight Committee.
  5. Keep up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices related to CASS compliance.
  6. Drive continuous improvements to enhance the accuracy, quality, and efficiency of regulatory procedures.
Candidate Profile:
  • Experienced in CASS Management with in-depth knowledge of reconciliation processes, regulatory requirements, and market practices in the UK and EU.
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments, trading systems, and market dynamics.
