Job summary

Upvest is seeking a CASS Oversight Manager in London to ensure client money and custody assets are protected, segregated and accounted for under the FCA's Client Assets Sourcebook. You will act as the primary day-to-day authority on CASS, bridging regulatory requirements with operational processes and our scalable investment API.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of CASS 6–10 and CMAR concepts.
• Experience in a CASS operations, oversight or audit role.
• Ability to translate FCA rules into actionable procedures.

Responsibilities

• Own the CASS oversight framework and controls.
• Manage client money calculations and reconciliations.
• Oversee breaches, regulatory reporting and CMAR submissions.
• Lead the annual CASS audit process and track close-out findings.
• Maintain the CASS Resolution Pack and update regulators on changes.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to assess client asset impact of new features.
• Deliver CASS MI for the board and risk committees and provide training.
