A look into the role
We seek an Assistant Manager with external audit experience, including Client Asset (CASS) audits, to support our growing financial services client base. Here’s what to expect:
Achieving deadlines while understanding the commercial impact of actions related to productivity, recoverability, fee income, and client service.
Serving as the primary client contact for daily matters, managing large, complex clients, highlighting issues affecting the audit opinion, and recommending appropriate actions. Ensuring audit reports meet standards and act as a best practice reference.
Providing regular communication and feedback, fostering training and development for yourself and colleagues.
Acting as a trusted business adviser, managing key client portfolios, and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
Organizing and attending marketing events, understanding the firm’s services, proposing innovative solutions, and building a network for referrals.
Knowing you’re right for us
The minimum criteria include a professional qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent) and experience managing statutory and CASS audits for financial services clients.
Preferred skills (not mandatory):
Experience managing audits of large companies and handling complex technical issues.
Strong knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102.
Project management experience.
Experience with IFRS and auditing listed companies is advantageous.
