Job summary

Johnston Carmichael Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers recruitment for a CASS Audit Senior/Supervisor role across the UK, with flexible location within commutable distance to Johnston Carmichael offices. You will lead CASS engagements for FCA-regulated firms, including fintechs and wealth managers.

Working under Gillian Boston and a growing specialist team, you will advance your CASS expertise, mentor junior staff, and help develop business in a high-growth financial services practice.

Qualifications

• CA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Audit experience gained in practice.
• Knowledge of Financial Services and FCA regulated businesses.
• CASS audit experience or a strong interest in developing this specialism.
• Experience within wealth management, investment management, platforms, stockbroking or related sectors.
• Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive approach and commitment to exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Leading audit fieldwork and managing day to day client interactions.
• Delivering assignments to budget, deadline and quality expectations.
• Coaching and supporting junior team members.
• Identifying and resolving audit and regulatory issues.
• Preparing robust, review ready audit files.
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of CASS and FCA requirements.
• Supporting business development and identifying opportunities with existing clients.
• Building strong relationships across clients and colleagues.

Education

CA/ACA/ACCA equivalent
