Job summary

Johnston Carmichael is seeking a CASS Audit Senior or Supervisor to join a growing specialist Financial Services team. You will lead engagements from planning to completion, delivering robust audit files and building relationships with FCA regulated clients across wealth management and investment platforms.

You will work within a flexible UK-wide remit, benefiting from hybrid working and opportunities to develop specialist CASS expertise under experienced leaders in a market-leading practice.

Qualifications

• Audit experience gained in practice.
• Knowledge of Financial Services and FCA regulated businesses.
• CASS audit experience or a strong interest in developing this specialism.
• Experience within wealth management, investment management, platforms, stockbroking or related sectors.
• Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive approach and commitment to exceptional client service.

We are seeking an experienced CASS Audit Senior or Supervisor to join our expanding CASS Audit team, working with a wide range of FCA regulated firms, from innovative fintechs and startups to established wealth managers and investment firms.

Led by Gillian Boston, a member of the ICAEW Financial Services Faculty CASS Working Group and Committee Member of the Scottish CASS Forum, our team is recognised for its technical expertise, industry profile and thought leadership within the CASS community. This is an opportunity to work directly with recognised industry leaders, gain exposure to complex and varied CASS engagements, and develop expertise within a niche area of Financial Services where demand for experienced professionals continues to grow.

What You Will Do

About You

We are looking for an ambitious and technically strong individual who is keen to develop their career within a growing specialist Financial Services team.

You will ideally have:

• CA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification (or be close to qualifying).
• Audit experience gained in practice.
• Knowledge of Financial Services and FCA regulated businesses.
• CASS audit experience or a strong interest in developing this specialism.
• Experience within wealth management, investment management, platforms, stockbroking or related sectors.
• Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive approach and commitment to exceptional client service.
