The Role

Legend is hiring a German Content Editor to join our DE speaking expansions team and report directly to our Gaming Manager (DACH regions). The candidate will be fully accountable for their market and have the opportunity to work together with content, SEO, and product teams to leverage new opportunities for growth.

This is a brilliant opportunity to supercharge your own growth by working with and learning from some of the strongest experts in both Content, SEO, and Product within the iGaming sphere.

Your Impact:

  • Help drive the DE speaking region/s agreed on with your manager (most likely starting with Germany) in terms of optimizing any existing pages and driving the expansion of future pages on our casino-focused product.
  • Be someone who has worked in a German speaking market within the gaming industry with an understanding of what it takes to create engaging content on local gaming products.
  • Stay up to date regarding market and compliance changes, industry trends, gaming news, and changing user needs to proactively adjust and improve our product.
  • Brief and liaise with freelance writers and agencies to ensure the expansion of future pages on our product, ensuring best SEO optimized, high-quality copy aligned to our style guide. With the long-term prospect of heavily optimizing and, if needed, rewriting yourself as needed to guarantee our number 1 position in Search Engine Results Pages for the region.
  • Be a gatekeeper for all content that goes onto our product for your designated market/markets.
  • Be the evangelist ambassador for Gaming in the company and in the pillar, relentlessly improving our team's gaming knowledge specific to your market/markets.
  • Use your skills and keen eye to suggest new, innovative ways of engaging with our audience and expanding the market.
  • Work with design and product teams to champion the core gaming user journey for the region.

What You'll Bring:

  • Content experience in a German speaking market (ideally casino related) in the iGaming industry.
  • A true passion for Gaming and keeping up to date with industry trends and insights within a German speaking market (ideally Germany).
  • A deep understanding of core gaming user journeys within a German speaking market (ideally Germany) and championing building and improving digital gaming products which add value for players through quality content.
  • A strong command of German, native level fluency.
  • Experience managing the delivery of content and design work from freelancers or agencies.
  • Hands-on experience of SEO from a previous role and experience using metrics to plan content, analyze the success of your content and heavily optimize or, if needed, rewrite yourself.
  • A passion for metrics and will continually work to understand the data that helps you improve content strategies and the overall product within Italy.
  • A team player mentality and a desire to help upscale the Gaming Knowledge for your market amongst the wider business.

The Interview Process

  • Join Legend, where interviews are a two-way exploration of fit. Here's what you can expect from our hiring process:
  • 1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner (30 mins via Zoom)
  • 2nd: Interview with our team, Interviewer 1 and Interviewer 2 (1 hour video via Zoom)
  • 3rd: Take home task - you will be given 3 days to complete the task and send it back to the team, Interviewer 1 and Interviewer 2
  • 4th: Final interview with the team, Interviewer 3 and Interviewer 4 (1 hour video via Zoom)
