Job summary

Metropolitan Gaming is seeking a Cashdesk Manager to oversee all operations of the casino cashdesk, ensuring accurate, secure, and compliant financial transactions. You will manage cashiers and supervisors, enforce internal controls, and supervise audits and reporting while maintaining excellent guest service.

You will lead a team, uphold gaming regulations and AML standards, and coordinate with Surveillance to investigate variances.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a casino cashdesk and staff.
• Knowledge of gaming regulations and AML laws.
• Ability to develop and enforce SOPs for cashdesk operations.
• Strong cash reconciliation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cashdesk operations, ensuring accurate, secure transactions in line with policies.
• Supervise and train cashiers, supervisors, and count room staff; schedule and evaluate performance.
• Reconcile cashdesk, cash and electronic transactions including buy-ins, payouts and chip exchanges.
• Ensure currency, coins, chips and documents are secured, logged and balanced at shifts’ end.
• Develop and enforce SOPs to improve efficiency and compliance in cashdesk operations.
• Coordinate with Surveillance to investigate variances or suspicious activity.
• Prepare daily cash summaries, variance reports, and audit findings.
• Maintain knowledge of gaming, AML, and Safer Gambling regulations.
• Promote excellent guest service while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Participate in audits, regulatory reviews, and internal investigations as required.
• Manage staffing levels, hiring and performance of cage personnel.
• Serve as SME on cashdesk procedures and advise management and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.
