Job Description:

A global investment bank is recruiting for a permanent Cash, Receivable and Supply Chain Finance Analyst within International Trade Banking, based in Liverpool Street with hybrid working (3 days in the office).

Reporting to the Head of Financing and Client Services, you will provide middle office support for activities such as supply chain finance, forfaiting, and cash management.

You will be the first point of contact for supply chain finance, forfaiting, and cash management activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the key contact for Transaction Banking Clients (Corporate and Financial Institutions) regarding their cash management, supply chain, and forfaiting activities, including reporting.
• Maintain high interaction with the Front Office to stay updated on business developments and pipeline activity.

Receivable and Supply Chain Finance

• Manage relationships with Borrowers and agents on RSF transactions.
• Review draft documentation for new transactions, ensuring operational fit and highlighting issues for discussion.
• Ensure Credit approvals are obtained and checks are performed before opening new credit lines or accounts.
• Prepare Transmission Sheets for back office and Risk.
• Obtain relevant documentation, create transactions in bank systems, and ensure proper documentation storage.
• Liaise with Risk and BSG for deal handling.
• Manage drawdowns and repayments, coordinating with Back Office.
• Record transactions in Middle-Office Systems as needed.
• Monitor all actions on the portfolio through diary systems.
• Address ad hoc queries related to deals promptly and accurately.
• Keep procedures and controls files up to date.

Cash Management & Client Services

• Support Front Office teams to deliver timely and quality cash management services.
• Handle activities like account opening, amendments, closures, deposits, payments, and e-banking.
• Process client requests related to accounts efficiently.

The ideal candidate

• Has extensive experience in middle/back office support to Front Office.
• Possesses knowledge of Cash Management or Supply Chain Finance, or loan administration in a PF space.
• Understands Transaction Banking.
• Has operational experience reviewing Loan Agreements and managing bank accounts.
